Mark Kuhn has been behind the potter's wheel since 1989.   He is a master craftsman, who is proficient in wheel-thrown and hand-built forms, and he enjoys developing his own glaze formations and exploring texture and sculptural alterations.   Mark’s passion for pottery started when he was in high school, which then led him to pursue further training in the medium. He received a degree in art education, with a concentration in ceramics from California University of PA in the early 90’s.  In July 2013, he relocated from his farm in Pennsylvania to his new home on Oahu.  When Mark is not in his pottery studio, he can be found near the ocean where he enjoys fishing, body surfing and diving.
